Cooke Speed Panchro
The original Cooke Speed Panchros were designed and built in the 1930's, but CamTec's have been rehoused and modified for compatibility with modern camera systems by Van Diemen of England. Built with relatively few, small glass elements, direct light produces a very pleasing flare over the entire frame. Although the comparison is not strong with modern lenses, sharpness is surprisingly good for a lens of this vintage, and contrast is quite low. These lenses are more popular now than anytime in recent years.
