Canon PL CN-E PRIMES
Camtec’s custom-tuned Canon CN-E Primes pair full-frame coverage and proven Canon optics with a softer character. Our lens team has subtly adjusted the set to reduce contrast and introduce focus falloff at the edges of the frame. Compact, consistent housings and PL mounts make them a practical choice for production, while an 11-blade iris creates smooth background blur.
The lenses also incorporate a design that compensates for thermal expansion and contraction, helping focus markings remain consistent as temperatures change. The result brings Camtec’s optical tuning together with the reliability and familiar handling of Canon’s cinema primes.
